I highly doubt that is a coincidence. GamesRadar knew they would get railroaded if they gave KZ2 a 7/10 because of what happened over at GAF. So they got their buddies over at Edge to give it a scathing review.

That doesn't mean we have to accept or acknowledge that opinion as valid. n4g is a community driven site, and the community spoke out on that review, period. The fact that a site admin put it back up to 8 times shows that their own beliefs are not allowing the community to choose what it accepts as valid.

Killzone 2 has a metacritic of 94 with 100 from X-play and 96 from gamesTM still outstanding.
The author makes a valid point, but a troll like yourself is too busy "smoking the green" and trying to attack readers for seeing the truth which obviously you aren't happy about.

Gaming "journalism" is in a very sad state. There is absolutely no consistency from game to game, review to review. There is no standard, and reviews are no longer about "reviewing a game for what it is", it has now become "review it for what it's not".
Ratchet and Clank: ToD - no multiplayer, too much variety
Uncharted - no multiplayer
MGS4 - cutscenes are long
Killzone 2 - no co-op
Warhawk - no single player campaign

in rainbow 6, you go into 3rd person when you take cover, then back to 1st person when aim.
in kz2, you stay in first person all the time.
if you actually played the demo, you would know this.
